Woodcut “Cumbria”

Cumbria

A new artist’s book will be out at Turn The Page, Norwich, in early May - with woodcuts showing scenes from around Keswick and Derwent Water.

New in 2012

In the course of 2012 a special edition of artist’s cards will be printed as an hommage to the metal type that serves in my studio as part of my member of staff. Printing will be going on all year and will be on show during my Open Studio in July.

A selection of the Manarah-poems will be printed in a special limited edition of cards and go to the project for fund-raising at readings and activities joined to  exhibitions of the al-Mutanabbi-Street-Inventory artwork. For dates and locations of shows of the project’s artwork see the brandnew extra website or ask Sarah Bodman at UWE Bristol. In 2012 there will be special activities to commemorate the al-Mutanabbi-Street bombing on March 5th five years ago.
